I'd forgotten what it feels like to cry so hard, until you can't control your breathing and you're gasping for air, until your jaw hurts so bad, until you feel like there's a boxing match going on in your head because it's just pounding so hard.

And it goes on and on, until you're so exhausted. Your breathing slows down, but your jaw still aches, and your head is still pounding. Wave after wave after wave, it becomes a rythmic lullaby, until finally, you're too drained to even open your eyes. And the heartache is all that's left to feel.

You reminded me how it feels.


And you.
You need me to be stronger than this.
But I need you to stop being so in denial.
